Proposed Honey Extraction Day - in place of Jan meeting

As our meeting day falls on Australia Day, we are not holding our normal Bee group meeitng. Instead we're proposing we use the day to extract the honey from our ECOSS hives. If you are a member and have honey you'd like to extract and dont have the equipment, you are also welcome to bring your frames down and extract them at ECOSS. (You will be required to assist with the cleaning up afterwards :) )

You will need to supply and bring your own jars for the honey you are bottling to take back home. If you have heaps and would like to sell some to the club, you will be paid $10 a kilo.  The Club then sells the honey at local Festivals and the Lilydale Show to help with fundraising for our Club. 

To let us know that you'd like to attend, please register your ticket below.  You will be asked if you prefer Sunday morning or afternoon and how many frames/kilos you think you might be extracting. This is not an exact science. It's just to give us an idea.
