Hive Exchange Network

The Yarra Valley Group is happy to support its' members who either wish to obtain or exchange bees and/or hive equipment (NOT A SWARM). We offer a contact list where members can place an expression of interest for both.

We can also provide a forum for you to speak about your bees/equipment up for offer in "Whats happening in my hive" session during our monthly meeting.

It is the responsability of both the giver and receiver to attend a group meeting at ECOSS, fill in their details on the list at the registration desk, and communicate independently of the YVBG,regarding all required arrangements. YVBG accepts no responsability or liability for this porcess.

YVBG highly recommends that any new beekeeper undertake a beekeeping biosecurity course prior to receiving a new hive.
